A horse ride in the vineyards
June 4th, 2009Regionally very much undermarketed are ‘the other things to do’ in the Robertson Wine Valley. One of these is a horse ride (”carage trip”) through the vineyards at the Robertson Riding School (no website; tel: Inel 072-2917631). This young enterprise also offers riding camps during school holidays. The trip of 1.5 hrs follows a stretch along the Breede River (near Majors Hill wine cellar) and through the vineyars with stunning views on the Langeberg- and Riviersonderend Mountains.
